Why this site is what it is
I currently work as an open source engineer at NetBird in Berlin. Most of what I do professionally is explain technical concepts to other engineers through talks, posts, videos, and the things collected on the work page.
One of the most interesting (and challenging) aspects of being a growing content creator right now is how you prove your own human-ness.
This site is part of my attempt to do that. 337 books, films and series that I’ve read, watched and rated. 460 training sessions. 988 days of learning german, spanish, meditating, and journaling. Everything is updated live everyday from Notion databases that I’ve had since 2021.
On being human
To me, life is about more than big milestones and achievements. I’ve been fascinated for a long time about how a simple, small habit can have a profound impact over time. I began to track my habits in this way to see if I could see exactly that.
And so, this has ended up as kind of the opposite of a CV in a lot of ways. It shows what’s happened in between the lines of my work, what I value, and how I’ve grown over time.
