here and now

When I started high school, I thought I was going to be an academic.

When I graduated high school, I thought I was going to get a PhD in bioengineering.

After my first year of college, I thought I was going to devote my life to exploring an under-studied language.

After I graduated college, I thought I was going to work for a company in Italy.

2 weeks ago, I thought I was going to be searching for a job for a long time.

I am nowhere near where I expected to be. I am so grateful to be where I am and so proud of who I’ve become.
